 Information for MUTTcracker Exhibitors-Vendors 2015

The Audition:

Audition for dogs who wish to appear in The Nutcracker ballet. We need dogs that walk nicely on a leash and a small dog which can be held, passed around and walk on a leash.  Dogs must be child and dog friendly, comfortable with loud noises, bright lights, tight quarters, being bumped and the excited energy of 20-40 children at once. Dogs auditioning must have been adopted from a rescue or shelter and have been spayed or neutered before the audition.

The Adoption Event:
Local rescues will bring adoptable animals for you and your family to meet and possibly adopt. 

The Family Friendly Day:
*   Master of Ceremonies Canton City Councilman Frank Morris
*   Music by Canton’s own Duckii
*   Canton Police K-9 Office Chris Heslop will do a demonstration
*   Photos of you and your dog by JustUsTwo photographer Michael Barath
*   Costume contest prizes for: Best Pet and Owner Pair; Scariest Costume; Most Creative Costume
*   A Blessing of the Animals by Paster Micah Hasty of NewPointe Community Church
*   Free face painting and more family activities.
*   Vendors with animal related items for purchase

The Clothing Drive:
Stark County’s homeless dogs and cats need your help. Bring in any new or used dog clothes or supplies, leashes, collars, coats, blankets, towels, cat or dog crates or carriers, aluminum pet dishes, etc. to any of our drop off locations:    *    Canton Ballet     *    Cultural Center for the Arts     *    ArtsinStark     *    Canton Country Day School
