Kiki Kalos immigrated to the United States from Rhodes, Greece, in 1971. Her experience as a seamstress extends as far back as she can remember, beginning professionally at age 16 when she was the wardrobe lady for a family in Athens. In 1988 Mrs. Kalos became the wardrobe mistress for Canton Ballet and has assisted in all performances. She is at every rehearsal and performance handling last-minute adjustments and repairs and often doing several loads of laundry between performances to keep the costumes looking fresh
Her husband of over fifty years, Nick Kalos is a tremendous help with the hundred and one things that go into costumes and assessories before they reach the stage.
