Supporting The Canton Ballet

Canton Ballet is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation.  All gifts are tax deductible.  Ticket revenues and other earned income provide only about 65% of the funds necessary to bring Canton Ballet’s high quality of dance performances and extensive education and outreach programs to the community. It requires an average investment of $15,000 to bring a live ballet performance to the stage.

School of Canton Ballet strives to make outstanding ballet instruction available to all students who desire to study classical ballet. Each year $10,000 in financial assistance is budgeted for students who would not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in a dance program. Your support assures Canton Ballet will continue to provide audiences with outstanding entertainment, maintain the high quality of instruction at affordable tuition rates, and continue to offer financial assistance for students in need.

There are several ways individuals and corporations can provide financial support to Canton Ballet.

* Members 

have a voice in electing Trustees who guide the organization.

* Performance Patrons

provide underwriting funds to help offset production costs.

* Endowment Contributors

assure the future of Canton Ballet’s training and programming.

* Corporate Sponsors

provide significant funds for special projects such as new ballet, dance residency, guest artists, costumes and scenery.

* Nutcracker Ball

takes place the first weekend in December and is the ballet’s major fundraising event.  Patrons provide support through donations of cash or auction items and attendance at the event.

* School Raffle 

underwrites live music in the classrooms.
