Canton Ballet invites you to join its membership. Your support, along with operating and special project income from Ohio Arts Council, ArtsinStark and local foundations, helps ensure the outstanding educational opportunities and family entertainment for which Canton Ballet is so well known.

THE COMPANY
In existence for 44 years and a highly regarded member of Regional Dance America for decades, the Company performs three annual seasons including its sparkling production
of The Nutcracker each December, a holiday tradition for the Stark community and surrounding areas. Additional performance opportunities include in-theatre experiences
for area students, other school and community outreach programs and an adjudicated performance at the prestigious annual RDA/Northeast Festival. The Ballet prepares its young dancers for success in a variety of careers. Besides receiving excellent training
in classical ballet and other dance styles, they learn self discipline, creative problem solving, teamwork, self reliance, confidence and responsibility.
THE SCHOOL
The School of Canton Ballet, with an enrollment of 300- plus children and adults, is known throughout Ohio for its excellence. Under the leadership of Cassandra Crowley for 29 years, the School is one of the finest preprofessional dance training centers in the country. Ms. Crowley places strong emphasis on staff development and excellence in classroom instruction. Her guidance assures the highest calibre of training for those who want to dance. Your membership contribution enables the School to engage special nationally known guest teachers and choreographers and makes possible a financial assistance program which provides tuition and dance attire for students in need.
