Group Sales

Whether you have a group of students, a business, a special interest group, a girl/boy scout troop, a college alumni reunion, a family reunion, or just you and 19 of your friends, Canton Ballet is a perfect solution for a red carpet group outing.  Your group is provided with entertainment—there are 8 performances this year to choose from.  All performance are held at the historic Palace Theatre located in downtown Canton. Downtown Canton has a host of dining/party options available just around the corner from the Palace Theatre.

Who/what is a group?

If you have 20 or more people, then you are a group!  Whether it's formal or casual, a celebration or just friends having a good time, your group attending Canton Ballet is always a special occasion.

Perfect for:

• Corporate or business groups.

For entertaining clients, employee incentives, or social opportunities for executives and board members.

• Associations, meetings, and conventions.

As a prelude or a finale to a convention or event, as an outing for participants and/or spouses.

• Civic, government, or political groups.

For constituent entertainment, agency guests, or staff parties.

• Church, social, schools, fraternities, or alumni organizations.

As awards or honors, or strictly social occasions.  Plan a regular outing!

Do something special for your employees as a special recognition event!  Looking for a way to show your appreciation for a job well done—choose from any one of Canton Ballet’s nine performances to send your staff to—it’s cost effective and a sure fire way to build office spirit. How about replacing that “standard” Christmas Party with something new and exciting!  An evening with the enchanting Nutcracker performance is an exciting way to celebrate the holiday season.

Priority handling

Through group sales, you are able to reserve tickets in advance of the general public without having to make full payment—and you receive one on one personal service.  Contact Canton Ballet Group Sales Manager Deborah Sherrod Barath right away, even if the performance is months from now

Discounts

Discounts are available to groups for 20 more for most shows.  Groups receive two dollars off the regular ticket price.  Please contact our Group Sales Manager for a complete group sales package.

Payments

Only one payment is accepted for the entire group at cut-off/release date (see below), no individual payments are accepted. Master Card, Visa, Checks (personal & business), Cash.

No penalty for changing orders

As a group leader you may not know exactly how many tickets you will need. 
Canton Ballet’s group sales program will allow you to purchase only the tickets that you need.  You can place tickets on hold today for any performance that is coming to Canton Ballet.  Your final payment is due at the cut/off release date (THREE WEEKS BEFORE  THE PERFORMANCE DATE.) You only pay for the tickets that you need.  In other words, if you hold 50 tickets and you only need 46, you only pay for 46.  It's that simple!  If you discover that you are going to need more tickets than what you originally placed on hold, just give us a call, and based on availability, we will place your tickets as close to the original order as possible. Groups MUST remain over 20 to receive the discounted rate.

Large Groups (over 100 people)

Larger groups have the option of choosing more than one performance date and will be allowed to offer up to three dates for their staff to choose.  Each of these optional performance dates will need to have 20 or more attendees per date—Only one-cut off/payment date will be allowed for all dates.

Promotional materials

Promotional materials are available for most shows to assist you with the publicity of the event in your organization.  We can provide you with promotional copy for newsletters, along with posters, flyers and/or handouts—and any press reviews we have received.  We are here to help you market this event to your group with as little to no stress as possible.

Assistance for people with disabilities

The Palace Theatre has five spaces available for wheelchairs.  Canton Ballet offers assistance to assure that groups receive accessibility accommodations.  You will be helped with any wheelchair guests and provided accessible seating.
