DanceCamp


DanceCamp is a week of creative movement classes for ages 3-6 led by Early Childhood specialist Julie Mizer Grasse.  It includes fun crafts and healthy snacks.

There are two sessions:  June 23-27 and August 4-9.  The camp meets for two hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

10-12 noon 3-4 year olds

12:30-2:30  5-6 year olds

The cost is $115 per week.   To register for Dance Camp a non-refundable deposit of $50 is required and will be applied to the total amount due.  Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.  Call 330.455.7220 to register.

Parents are invited to attend and observe the last day of class.

 

Summer School Classes


Summer school classes are a great way for current students to maintain their level of training and for new students to enter the School of Canton Ballet program. Classes are offered once a week for an eight-week session for Toddlers through Adults.


June 25 - August 13
In these classes the child learns to release his imagination through rhythm and to enjoy the magic and discipline of movement. The teacher for these classes is Early Childhood Specialist, Julie Mizer Grasse

Creative Movement 1 (4 yr old)
Wednesday, 11:15-12 noon or 4-4:45 pm

Creative Movement 2 (5 yr old)
Wednesday, 12:15-1:00 pm or 4-4:45 pm

Preballet (6 yr old)
Wednesday, 1:00-1:45 pm or 4:45-5:30 pm

In Elementary Ballet children are introduced to classical ballet training appropriate for the physical development of their bodies.

Elementary 1 (7 yr old)
Wednesday, 5:45-6:45 pm

Elementary 2 (8-9 yr old)
Wednesday, 6:45-7:45 pm

Elementary 3 (9-11 yr old)
Wednesday, 6:45-7:45 pm
