Personal Protection Classes


323A six-week course of Personal Protection classes taught by Army Airborne Ranger John Green, LMS ret., for ages 11 years and up begins Saturday, January 24, at 11 a.m. The cost for six classes is $90.  Green, a Canton Ballet Company alumnus, will offer an introduction to personal protection for various ages and physical builds and for men as well as women.

Private Vocal Lessons

DSC_0005John Hayward holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Westminster Choir College and graduate study in voice and conducting at Eastern Kentucky University, Kent State University and Peabody Conservatory. He has worked extensively in the Canton area as an actor, singer, director and educator. Mr. Hayward’s energy and dedication to his work bring out the very best in vocal music in his students. We are honored to have this truly accomplished musician offering lessons to our students.

Modern Dance Classes

Kelli Sanford

Kelli Sanford, Artistic Director of RED Company holds a Master of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from The University of Akron. A Part-Time Assistant Lecturer in Dance at The University of Akron, she teaches Modern Technique and Viewing Dance.

At CWRU Ms. Sanford received numerous awards in excellence in teaching, performing, theatrical elements, and most recently was nominated by the undergraduate student body for “Excellence in Mentoring” and also “Most Engaging Lecturer Award”.

Jazz Dance Classes
Megan Gatts Seemann heads the dance department at Jackson High School. She has choreographed musicals and show choirs for the past 8 years. Her specialties are jazz/tap/contemporary and hiphop. Ms. Seeman began her career studying at the Massillon studio of Vivian Munson under her mother Lynn Gatts. During her youth, Ms. Seeman traveled to numerous dance conventions and competed extensively.
